Our products
A liquid dry shampoo delivers the oil-absorbing power of a classic dry shampoo in a lightweight liquid formula that is easy to distribute.
At Droo, an ultra-fine absorbent powder is built directly into the liquid formula, rather than being deposited on the hair as a powder or an aerosol.
Sprayed onto the roots, the formula dries in seconds and leaves just the right amount of absorbent silica and targeted actives exactly where your hair and scalp need them.
Droo is a next-generation liquid dry shampoo designed to instantly refresh hair between washes while delivering targeted ingredients to the hair and scalp. At the heart of every formula is oil-absorbing silica, dispersed within a lightweight liquid formula, alongside a specific blend of ingredients selected to address common hair and scalp concerns.
Each formula refreshes immediately, while offering targeted benefits depending on what your hair needs.
Droo works on two fronts: an instant refreshing effect and targeted care for your hair and scalp.
Ultra-fine silica absorbs excess sebum at the roots while restoring volume. Its naturally porous structure allows it to capture sebum effectively and reduce the greasy look of hair.
Built into a lightweight liquid formula, it spreads easily and evenly across the roots. Within seconds, the formula dries and leaves the absorbent particles to do their work, with no powdery effect.
At the same time, each Droo formula combines actives specifically selected to address different hair and scalp needs: sebum regulation, hydration, shine or hair density.
No.
Droo is designed to refresh hair and extend the time between washes, not replace cleansing with shampoo altogether.
It absorbs excess oil at the roots and helps hair feel fresher between wash days, while the targeted ingredients in each formula provide additional hair and scalp benefits.
Unlike traditional dry shampoos, Droo doesn’t just absorb excess sebum: it combines instant freshness with targeted care for your hair and scalp.
Its liquid formula spreads an ultra-fine absorbent powder evenly across the roots. It dries in seconds, with no white residue or powdery effect.
Each formula is also enriched with actives selected for a specific need: adding shine and caring for the hair fiber, helping rebalance oily roots, or supporting hair density.
The result: the benefits of a dry shampoo, rethought with a true haircare approach.
Formula Philosophy
Because we wanted dry shampoo to do more than simply absorb oil. The silica provides the immediate refreshing effect, while the active ingredients in each formula are selected to provide additional benefits for the hair and scalp. This allows Droo to combine instant performance with more targeted care.
No, and that is intentional.
Our formulas contain up to 99% ingredients of natural origin, but we do not believe performance or safety should be compromised in pursuit of a 100% natural claim. We combine naturally derived ingredients with carefully selected cosmetic ingredients where they offer the best solution.
Our formulas are developed and manufactured in France in collaboration with experienced cosmetic laboratories and ingredient suppliers.
Silica is an ultra-fine, lightweight and naturally porous powder that is particularly effective at absorbing excess sebum.
Its structure allows it to capture sebum at the roots and instantly reduce the greasy look of hair, without having to wash it.
At Droo, it is built directly into the liquid formula, so it spreads in a thin, even layer across the roots, with no powdery effect or white residue.
Our technology
Because Droo contains suspended oil-absorbing silica and other ingredients that can naturally settle while the bottle is standing.
Shaking the bottle redistributes them evenly throughout the formula so that every spray delivers the correct balance of ingredients. For best results, shake well before every use.
Droo has been designed to minimise visible residue when used as directed. Because the silica is delivered through a fine liquid mist rather than applied directly as a concentrated powder, it can be distributed more evenly across the roots. Shake well, apply lightly and allow the formula to dry before massaging it in for the most seamless finish.
It shouldn’t.
When applied correctly, Droo is designed to leave hair feeling lightweight and refreshed. If your roots feel damp, sticky or coated, you may have applied too much product. Start with a small amount and build only where needed
No.
Droo isn’t designed to create hold or stiffness. Once dry, hair should retain its natural movement and feel touchable.
That’s normal.
Droo is a liquid dry shampoo, so you’ll initially feel a very fine mist on the roots. The liquid phase is designed to evaporate quickly, leaving behind the silica and targeted ingredients for treatment and volume.
Avoid over-applying and give the product a few moments to dry before massaging or styling.
The liquid format allows us to disperse ultra-fine silica evenly throughout the formula while also incorporating targeted ingredients for the hair and scalp.
Rather than applying a concentrated layer of powder directly to the roots, Droo delivers the oil-absorbing particles in a fine liquid mist.
This helps create a more even application and allows us to combine the immediate refreshing effect of dry shampoo with more targeted hair and scalp care.
Usually just a few moments.
Drying time can vary depending on how much product you apply, your hair density and environmental conditions.
For the lightest finish, apply a small amount at a time and allow it to dry before adding more.
Yes.
Silica is the oil-absorbing powder at the heart of Droo’s dry shampoo technology.
The difference is how it is delivered. Rather than being applied directly as a loose or aerosolised powder, the silica is dispersed throughout our liquid formula and released onto the roots as the liquid evaporates.
Product application
Absolutely!
Use Droo whenever your roots need a refresh between washes, or simply to give your hair more volume.
How much to apply depends on your hair, how quickly it gets oily and how many days it has been since your last wash.
Apply Droo to dry hair.
The formula has been designed to absorb oil from dry roots and should be used between washes rather than immediately after shampooing on wet hair.
Focus on the roots and scalp, particularly around areas that become oily first or the areas you want to treat, such as the hairline, parting and crown.
There’s usually no need to apply Droo throughout the lengths of the hair.
More product does not necessarily mean better oil absorption.
Over-applying can leave too much formula on the hair, which may make the roots feel heavier or more textured than intended. A light, even application gives the best result.
Shake very well before every use.
Section dry hair and spray directly onto the roots from approximately 10–15 cm away, concentrating on areas where oil is most visible. Allow the formula to dry for a few moments, then gently massage it into the roots with your fingertips. Brush or style as desired.
Start with less than you think you need.
Apply one or two sprays to each area that needs refreshing, allow the product to dry and assess before adding more. Dry shampoo works best when applied gradually rather than saturating the roots all at once.
We recommend brushing your hair for optimal results, it is however not necessary.
Once the product has dried, brushing can help distribute it through the roots and restore natural movement.
For curly or textured hair, you may prefer to massage the roots gently without brushing.
Yes, absolutely!
Once the product has been applied, you can use a blow-dryer to help finish your style and create additional movement at the roots.
Yes, but wait a few moments first.
Allowing the liquid phase to evaporate gives the silica time to settle onto the roots. You can then gently massage the product through with your fingertips to distribute it evenly.
Yes.
Applying a small amount before bed can be a useful way to get ahead of oil that develops overnight.
Just make sure to shake well, apply lightly to dry roots and allow the formula to dry before going to sleep.
Yes.
Droo is particularly useful after exercise when your roots need refreshing but you don’t want to wash your hair.
If your scalp is very wet from sweat, allow your roots to dry first before applying.
Performance
Absolutely!
If your roots need another refresh, apply a small amount only where needed.
We recommend building gradually rather than repeatedly applying large amounts of product.
Droo helps hair feel and smell fresher between washes.
It is particularly useful after long days, travel, exercise or whenever your hair needs a quick reset.
Droo is designed for regular use between washes.
As with any dry shampoo, it shouldn’t replace normal scalp cleansing indefinitely. How often you use it will depend on your hair, scalp and washing routine.
Droo refreshes your hair, but it doesn’t cleanse in the same way as shampoo and water.
The silica absorbs excess oil and the formula helps improve the appearance and feel of the roots between washes, but regular shampooing remains an important part of your haircare routine.
It can create the appearance of more lift at the roots.
By absorbing excess oil that can weigh hair down, Droo helps restore movement and natural body. However, it is primarily a dry shampoo rather than a volumising styling product.
The refreshing effect is immediate.
Once the liquid phase has evaporated, the silica begins absorbing excess oil at the roots, helping hair look fresher and less greasy. The additional targeted benefits of each formula may develop with continued use.
This varies from person to person.
Your natural oil production, hair type, activity level, climate and how much product you apply can all affect how long your roots stay fresh.
Droo is designed to help extend the time between washes and can be reapplied when needed.
Yes.
Droo is designed to fit into your existing haircare routine.
For the best oil absorption, apply it directly to the roots rather than over a heavy layer of styling product.
Yes.
Oil absorption is one of Droo’s primary functions.
The ultra-fine silica in the formula helps bind excess sebum at the roots, reducing the visible appearance of oil and helping hair feel fresher.
Yes.
You can apply a small amount to clean, dry roots to help absorb oil as it develops and extend the fresh feeling of your wash, all the while giving your hair more volume. This can be particularly useful if your hair tends to become oily quickly.
Droo can also be used on clean hair, simply to add volume.
Hair & Scalp Compatibility
Droo has been designed to work across a wide range of hair types and textures.
Because the product is applied primarily to the roots, application can be adapted depending on your hair density, texture and level of oiliness.
Yes.
Droo can be used on colour-treated, highlighted and bleached hair.
Yes.
The liquid delivery system helps distribute the silica in a fine, even layer rather than depositing a concentrated amount of powder in one place.
For the most seamless result on dark hair, shake well, apply sparingly and massage through once dry.
The Three Formulas
Because not everyone wants the same thing from their dry shampoo.
Beyond refreshing the hair, we wanted Droo to become an opportunity to introduce targeted care into a step of your routine you’re already doing. Each formula therefore combines our oil-absorbing technology with a different blend of ingredients selected for specific hair and scalp needs.
Not necessarily.
The formulas are designed more around your hair and scalp concerns than traditional categories such as straight, curly, fine or thick hair. The Refresher focuses on softness, hydration and shine.
The Detoxer is designed for oilier scalps and excess sebum. The Energizer is designed for hair density and hair prone to shedding.
Yes.
The Refresher, The Detoxer and The Energizer all share the same core purpose: to instantly refresh the roots and absorb excess oil.
What differentiates them is the blend of targeted ingredients added to address different hair and scalp concerns.
Packaging & Airless Technology
First, shake the bottle well.
Then press the pump several times to make sure the airless mechanism is properly primed. If the nozzle itself appears blocked, wipe it gently with a clean, damp cloth before trying again.
Our airless packaging helps protect the formula from repeated exposure to external air while allowing it to dispense consistently. It also helps to avoid issues relating to clogging. It also helps minimise the amount of product left behind inside the bottle.
Store your Droo upright at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
Replace the cap after every use and shake well before each application.
The packaging is designed to minimise clogging, but because Droo contains suspended particles, keeping the nozzle clean is important.
Always shake well before use and replace the cap afterwards. If product dries around the nozzle, gently wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
The silica and other dispersed ingredients can naturally settle while the product is standing. Shaking redistributes them evenly throughout the liquid, which not only helps ensure consistent performance but also allows the formula to pass through the spray mechanism as intended.
Unlike a traditional bottle with a dip tube, an airless system uses an internal mechanism that gradually pushes the product upwards as you use it.
This helps dispense the formula consistently and reduces unnecessary contact with external air.
Ingredients & Formulas
All three Droo formulas instantly refresh the roots and absorb excess oil using our silicabased liquid dry shampoo technology.
The difference lies in the targeted active blend inside each formula.
The Refresher is designed for hair that needs an everyday reset, with ingredients selected to support softness, hydration and shine.
The Detoxer is made for oilier scalps, with a botanical blend selected to help purify the scalp and rebalance excess sebum over time.
The Energizer is designed for hair prone to thinning or shedding, with targeted ingredients selected to support scalp health and improve the appearance of hair density over time.
Because dry shampoo does not have to be one-size-fits-all.
Most people use dry shampoo regularly, so we saw an opportunity to turn that moment into something more useful. Each Droo formula combines instant oil absorption with a specific blend of ingredients selected to address a common hair or scalp concern.
Yes.
For example, you may use The Detoxer when your scalp feels particularly oily and The Refresher on other days.
If you are using The Energizer for its longer-term benefits, consistency is more important, so we recommend keeping it as a regular part of your routine.
Yes.
Your hair and scalp needs can change with your routine, hormones, seasons, stress, activity level or environment.
You can alternate between formulas depending on what you need at a given time.
Sustainability
Droo is a Swiss brand and our products are manufactured and filled in France.
We deliberately chose to keep production in Europe and work with experienced partners who operate according to strict European standards for cosmetic quality and safety.
Where possible, we also source packaging, components and other materials within Europe to keep our supply chain relatively short.
For us, responsible beauty means making products thoughtfully from beginning to end.
That includes choosing ingredients for their quality and purpose, manufacturing close to home when possible, working with trusted European partners, designing packaging with its future in mind and being transparent about where we still have room to improve.
We would rather make specific, measurable choices than rely on broad sustainability claims.
France has one of the world’s strongest cosmetic manufacturing ecosystems and a long history of expertise in beauty formulation and production.
Manufacturing in France allows us to work closely with experienced cosmetic partners while keeping production relatively close to our Swiss base and many of the markets we serve.
It also means our products are made according to rigorous European quality and safety requirements.
Our current bottles are not yet sold with a refill system, but they have been designed with future refillability in mind.
As Droo grows, introducing refills is one of the ways we hope to extend the life of our packaging and reduce the amount of material used over time.
We believe sustainability is built through a series of considered choices rather than a single claim.
Whenever possible, we prioritise European sourcing, shorter supply chains, high-quality natural ingredients and recyclable packaging, while manufacturing our products in France.
At the same time, we don’t believe sustainability should come at the expense of product performance or safety. Every choice has to make sense for the formula, the product and the people using it.
We focus on the areas where a young brand can make meaningful choices from the start: sourcing as much as possible within Europe, manufacturing in France, reducing unnecessary transport between suppliers, choosing recyclable materials and designing packaging with future refillability in mind.
We also try to avoid adding packaging or components that do not serve a clear purpose.
Sustainability is an ongoing process, so we expect these choices to evolve as the brand grows.
We prioritise organic ingredients where they make sense, but not every ingredient can or should be certified organic.
Our first criteria are always quality, safety, efficacy and suitability within the finished formula. Organic sourcing is one of the factors we consider, rather than an absolute requirement.
We prioritise sourcing from Europe whenever possible.
Keeping our suppliers and production partners closer to home helps us shorten supply chains, work more closely with the people making our products and reduce unnecessary transportation across the different stages of production.
For certain ingredients, however, the best quality or most effective option may originate elsewhere. In those cases, quality, traceability and performance remain our priority.
Yes.
Droo is an independent, women-owned Swiss business.
Being independently built gives us the freedom to make long-term decisions around formulation, production, sourcing and design based on what we believe is right for the brand rather than chasing short-term compromises.
Yes.
Our products are manufactured in France by experienced cosmetic partners and are developed in accordance with the strict safety and regulatory requirements applicable to cosmetics sold in Europe and Switzerland.
Every finished formula undergoes the required safety and quality assessments before reaching the market.
Yes.
Our range is currently made with up to 99% ingredients of natural origin, and we prioritise high-quality natural ingredients, including organic options where they are appropriate and available.
But we don’t formulate to reach a natural percentage for the sake of a number. If a safe, well-studied non-natural ingredient makes a formula more effective, stable or pleasant to use, we believe it deserves a place in the product.
Yes. Our bottles and secondary packaging have been selected with recyclability in mind.
The outer cartons and paper-based materials used throughout our packaging can also be recycled according to local guidelines.
Because recycling infrastructure varies between countries, we always recommend checking your local instructions before disposal.
Shipping and Logistic
Applicable taxes and charges depend on the delivery destination.
Any costs payable at checkout or upon delivery will depend on the country and local customs requirements.
As a small independent business, we don’t yet benefit from the same shipping volumes and negotiated carrier rates as larger brands.
We’ve chosen to keep our logistics reliable and high-quality, even if that means our shipping rates are not yet the most competitive. We’re actively working on improving them as Droo grows.
Delivery typically takes between 2 and 7 working days, depending on your destination. Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow its progress.
